The Villageois Monaco Collection is a transitional design with timeless appeal. Villageois has selected to build this collection using solid Maple, which is considered the finest cabinet wood. It has been used for centuries in some of the finest furniture made in America and Europe. The Cafe finish selected for the Monaco collection is a deep burgundy finish, with subtle shaded edges and a low sheen catalyzed lacquer top coat. The result is a more relaxed, liveable feel that will be timeless in its appeal. The catalyzed lacquer top coat provides added protection from every day use. The contruction technique used is a frame and panel construction. Villageois used a mortise and tenon construction throughout the case, which is the strongest method of contruction. Monaco was designed and built to be enjoyed today and become an heirloom collection for many generations to come.
